Post 104 Receives District 25 Representatives

Post 104 Commander Ed Harwood (center) welcomes two distinguished members from Post 532 in Hayesville, NC as Joe Buckner, 25th District Commander (left) and Walt Hyzer, Vice-commander (right) Post 104 Commander and Post 532 Regional Officersvisited with us and offered their insight and assistance to our legion members.  There was an atmosphere of cooperation and fellowship as these two men shared some of the exciting things that are happening within Post 532 and how both posts could work together to better improve the image and membership of the American Legion within our respective areas.

It was agreed that Legionnaires and Ladies Auxiliary members from both Post locations could, and should, work in harmony to accomplish the task of serving veterans, their families, and each other in more effective ways through mutual cooperation and fellowship.  It was a blessing to hear these men speak about some of the things that Post 532 is doing to grow its membership and reach out to veterans.

Freedom is never free. . .
Many veterans paid a very high price for it.
